FOUNDER'S DAY AND BAISAKHI CELEBRATION
Shivalik Public School,Chandigarh celebrated its 55th Founder’s day and Baisakhi with great enthusiasm and a mixed blend of religious and cultural fervor. The day began in the school with the Sukhmani Sahib Path. Celebrations commenced with the recitation of the school Shabad Deh Shiva… followed by other shabads.
To mark this special day, speeches, poetic recitations and power point presentations were elucidated by the language teachers and students who expressed their sentiments on the historical importance of the Baisakhi Day. Cherishing the memories of Founder?s Day it was added that foundation stone of Shivalik was laid years ago on this day by five students amidst recitation of Gurbani. Since then this prestigious institution has endeavoured to channelize the energy and the creativity of young minds towards their overall development and perfection.
The Principal of the school, Dr. Gurkiranjeet Nalwa appraised students and staff members for their efforts and motivated them to follow the path of truth and moral values. She conveyed her best wishes to all.
