“Books give a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.”
Books are the gates to our world of imagination and they feed us with all the knowledge. Shivalik Public School, Patiala celebrated World Book Day on April 23rd, 2025. A special assembly was held in which students presented an enactment of a story ‘Kisan Ki Samajhdari’ which was followed by a speech on the “Importance of books”. The school organized various activities such as making of Book marks, Book covers and Book jackets in order to promote the significance of books among children as books work as a bridge between generations & across cultures.
Book Exhibition was also held in the library. Students from various classes visited the library to explore the exhibition and observed the activities. The celebration aims to foster a love for reading and knowledge among students.
