Shivalik Public School, Patiala celebrated Teej with vibrant festivities, including traditional attire, dance and music performances. Teej was celebrated from kindergarten till class 2 with great joy and excitement. The celebrations emphasized the cultural significance of Teej, with students and staff participating in traditional rituals and enjoying the festive atmosphere.
Class 1 students participated in a paper craft and bindi activity; creating colourful scenes whereas class 2 students designed beautiful Phulkari patterns. Adding a cultural touch, students also brought Teej delicacies in their lunchboxes, sharing the festive joy with their classmates.
The celebration created a joyful atmosphere, helping children connect with Indian traditions while enhancing essential early learning skills. Colorful hand fans were given as lovely takeaways to the tiny tots of kindergarten.
