Shivalik Public School, Patiala, celebrated Teachers’ Day virtually on 5th September 2025 with great enthusiasm to acknowledge the invaluable contribution of its teaching faculty.
The programme commenced with a solemn one-minute silence to pay heartfelt tribute to the victims of the devastating floods in Punjab.
The event was later marked by music, dance, and laughter, with teachers participating wholeheartedly.
On this occasion, a special video presentation was shared to honour teachers, followed by an oath reaffirming their dedication.
The programme began with a melodious song by music teacher Mr. Dinesh.
A variety of engaging activities showcased the creativity and enthusiasm of the teachers.
Ms. Sonia Bajwa enthralled everyone with a graceful dance , while Ms. Seema Sharma conducted an entertaining game , ‘Guess-The Childhood Photo’ .
Inspiring poems dedicated to teachers were recited by Ms. Meenakshi, Ms. Chetna and Ms. Gitanjali, adding warmth to the occasion.
A soulful Punjabi folk song by Ms. Damanpreet Kaur and a melodious presentation by Ms. Shweta Singh struck the right chords with the audience.
The celebration grew more lively with the ‘Taglines & Logo Quiz ’ conducted by Ms. Savleen Kaur and Ms. Mona, along with ‘fun riddles’ shared by Ms. Sarita and Ms. Jasmine Kaur.
A mesmerizing Kathak dance performance by dance teacher Ms. Vandana Sharma left everyone spellbound, while Ms. Chinu Sayal brought smiles with her creative ‘Emoji Storytelling’.
The excitement continued with ‘Guess the Song ’ led by Mr. Dinesh Birdi, and reached its peak during a spirited round of Antakshari between Block A, B, C and Block D.
Ma'am Principal lauded the dedication and resilience of teachers, motivating them to continue their mission of holistic education.
The celebration was a delightful tribute to teachers, leaving everyone with cherished memories and a spirit of togetherness.
