No Bag Day was observed for Classes kindergarten to V , making Children’s Day enjoyable for the younger students. The day was designed to be stress-free and fun, allowing children to come to school without the academic load and engage in a variety of recreational activities.
Kindergarten :
Children’s Day was celebrated with great excitement in kindergarten. A colouring competition
was held in all classes, and as it was a no-bag day, children enjoyed freely. They took part in fun games, creative activities, and a joyful dance session. It was a truly fun-filled day, and the children enjoyed every moment.
Classes 1 and 2 celebrated Children’s Day with great joy through a delightful No-Bag Day. The celebration began with a colouring activity, where children filled their pages with creativity and bright shades . This was followed by an enjoyable craft activity, allowing students to fold, paste and create beautiful pieces of art. The engaging table mat activity became a highlight, as children decorated their mats using cute fruit and vegetable cut-out stickers , learning about healthy food in a fun way. Energetic fun games kept the atmosphere lively and full of laughter. The day concluded with a cheerful dance session , where students danced freely and happily
Classes III to V
A variety of engaging and creative activities were organised to make the day enjoyable and memorable.
To begin with, students participated in the “ Spin the Wheel” activity, where each child got a fun task to perform. A beautiful and creative Rangoli Making Activity showcasing the layers of the Earth allowed students to blend art with learning. They also enjoyed Salad and Fruit Decoration , where they prepared colourful and nutritious plates.
The students took part in an Angle Activity using arm movements, which helped them understand angles in a fun and interactive way. A Collage/Poster Making Activity on Famous Sportspersons encouraged creativity while increasing awareness about national and international athletes.
An interactive “ Catch the Ball and Answer the Question ” game was conducted to help revise concepts in an enjoyable manner. The Clay Moulding Activity , in which students made stethoscopes and various objects of their choice, brought out their imagination and fine motor skills. Students also created beautiful greetings during the Card Making Activity.
A simple hands-on experiment on Soluble and Insoluble Substances was performed to strengthen basic scientific concepts. The students also enjoyed a dance session, followed by watching an animated movie, which added fun and relaxation to the day.
Overall, Children’s Day was celebrated with great excitement, and the activities successfully created a joyful, stress-free, and educational experience for all the students.
