INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS HELD IN SHIVALIK PUBLIC SCHOOL, PATIALA
Independence Day has a great importance in every Indian’s life. Shivalik Public School, Patiala salutes the nation on the eve of its 75th Independence Day. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and brotherhood. The gamut of celebration activities held in the campus consisted of school shabad, ceremony of pinning the tri-colour badges, flag hoisting ceremony, balloon bunch release ceremony, Independence day speech, march past ceremony, P.T. exercises, Aerobics ,patriotic group songs and patriotic dance performances.
At the end, the Principal of the school highlighted the significance of the day, and made the children aware that the future of their country lies in their hands. She urged the students to realize, understand and cherish our coveted freedom and work towards a progressive nation.
After that, Administrator Sir urged everyone to contribute in their respective fields to see India flourish and progress in the direction of a bright and prosperous future.
