CELEBRATIONS OF AMBEDKAR JAYANTI, BAISAKHI AND FOUNDER’S DAY AT SHIVALIK PUBLIC SCHOOL, PATIALA
To celebrate Ambedkar Jayanti, Baisakhi and Founder’s Day, Shivalik Public School, Patiala, organized a function on April 13,2022.
The event was a blend of religious, cultural and contemporary acts by the students of different grades. Activities were designed to contribute towards an all-round development of young Shivalkians. Students of classes 1 and 2 participated in coloring activity on the theme of Baisakhi.
The function began on a religious note as the students recited a soulful shabad. The function proceeded with various enchanting performances including songs, dances, and speeches etc. by the students. A speech on Founder’s day was delivered by Kashish Mittal of class 8-D. Afterwards, Jesmeen of class 9-C enlightened everyone about the importance of Baisakhi. In addition to this, a speech on Ambedkar’s Jayanti was delivered by Nandini of class +2- B.
Further, a song on Baisakhi was sung by Ishmeet kaur of 9-B. Cultural dance performances were shown by Parth of class 4th and Suneha of class 8-D. Golden moment of the day was marked by the precious words of Madam Principal, Mrs. Bhupinder Kaur Bhamra when she addressed everyone and promised for taking Shivalik Public School to greater heights of success.
