Vedic Mathematics is an ancient Indian system of calculation that provides a refreshing and highly effective approach to solving mathematical problems. To strengthen numerical skills, improve speed, and boost confidence in the subject, Shivalik Public School, Patiala, organised a special Vedic Mathematics Workshop for the students of Classes 9 and 10.
The workshop introduced students to the fascinating world of Vedic Maths and its age-old techniques derived from the Vedas, which simplify even complex calculations into quick and easy steps. Students eagerly participated and learnt various innovative methods that are not usually included in the regular curriculum but offer great advantages in competitive exams and day-to-day problem-solving.
