Shivalik Public School, Mohali celebrated Annual Day and Prize distribution ceremony for the Primary Wing , ‘Spectrum -2023’ amidst great zest ,vibrancy and elation. The programme took place in the School Auditorium. The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp of knowledge by the Hon’ble Chief Guest, Ms Gurkiran Jeet Nalwa, Principal, Shivalik Public School, Chandigarh, escorted by Dr. Jyoti Soni, Principal, Shivalik Institute of Education and Research, Mohali and Dr.Anupkiran Kaur , Principal , Shivalik Public School, Mohali. Principal, Dr. Anupkiran Kaur presented the School’s Annual report of the session 2023-24.
The Cultural programme depicted an array of Western and Folk dances , shadow dance and a Musical Play, ‘The selfish giant’. This was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony in which the Chief Guest gave away prizes to the meritorious students of the school. ‘Award of Excellence’ was bestowed to the All rounders, Dwiti (Class 3), Japnoor Kaur (Class 4)and Nishika Thakur (Class 5).The School felicitated two teachers of the primary section, Mrs. Namita Sharma and Mrs. Ruma Dhulia, with cash reward of Rs. 5100/- each for their meritorious services. The Chief Guest, Ms Gurkiran Jeet Nalwa in her concluding address was superlative in her appreciation of the students for a magnificent programme presented. She focused on regular follow up and monitoring of the students . The Grand Finale showcased the journey of the school right from its inception. The programme culminated with the National Anthem.
