Shivalik Public School Marks Republic Day Celebrations

Shivalik Public School, Phase 6, Mohali celebrated the 75th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The school dedicated to nurturing young minds, organized a series of events to instill a sense of pride and unity among its students.

Description: C:\Users\Student\Downloads\WhatsApp Image 2024-01-27 at 3.30.58 PM.jpeg The celebrations started with the unfurling of the tricolor by Dr. (Ms.)Jyoti Soni Principal, SIER, Mohali, symbolizing the values of freedom, justice, and equality enshrined in the Indian Constitution, followed by the March past of Class 7 students in respectful homage to the National flag.

The programme comprised of speeches in English, Hindi and Punjabi regarding the making and importance of Indian Constitution. The school echoed with the melodious rendition of patriotic songs and vibrant cultural performances by students and the staff members. There was a Mock parliament session by students of Class 9.

NCC Cadets of the school and students of classes 7th to 9th participated in the ‘Bhangra’ performance in the State Republic Day Celebrations held at SMHS(SC) Government College, SAS Nagar.

The school remains steadfast in its mission to empower students with knowledge, values and a deep-rooted sense of patriotism.

The programme ended with the singing of the National Anthem.
