Classes III to V Bring Alive “The Magic Within” at Annual Function
Shivalik Public School, Mohali celebrated its Annual Function “The Magic Within” with great enthusiasm and splendour on 18 December. The students of Classes III to V beautifully presented the theme through confident and imaginative performances, highlighting self-belief and inner potential.
The programme began with the School Shabad, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The graceful Saraswati Vandana – Veena of Wisdom set a serene and auspicious tone for the event.
Adding a magical narrative touch, Aladdin and the Genie took the audience on a journey of imagination, while the story-weavers Rashika and Samriddhi seamlessly connected each performance with confidence and charm.
The cultural presentations included “Little Stars, Big Dreams – Wings of Hope”, the melodious group song “Dreamers”, and the energetic act “Roar of the Brave – 21st Century Kids”. The colourful “Welcome to Agrabah – Prince Ali Parade” delighted the audience, followed by “Robots and Wonder – Magic in the Air”, showcasing curiosity and innovation. The inspiring “Junoon-e-Himmat – Motivational Qawwali” and “Rang Rang Mein Ekta – Unity in Diversity” conveyed powerful messages of perseverance and harmony.
The energetic Bhangra performance, “Rhythms of Punjab,” emerged as a showstopper, filling the stage with vibrant energy, perfect synchronisation, and infectious enthusiasm, while proudly celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Punjab.
The Prize Distribution Ceremony honoured students for their academic and co-curricular achievements.
The Principal, Dr. Anupkiran Kaur, appreciated the dedicated efforts of students and teachers. The Chief Guest, Dr. Gurkiranjeet Nalwa, applauded the confident performances and encouraged students to recognise and nurture the magic within themselves.
The programme concluded with the Grand Finale – “The Magic Within: Every Child, A Shining Light.” The Annual Function truly reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing creativity, confidence, and holistic development.
