An exhibition for all subjects was held in the School on 28th January 2023. Students from classes VI to XII participated and displayed their innovative talents in the Exhibition. The exhibition was inaugurated by Revered Director Ms D.S.Bedi accompanied by School Principal Dr.Anupkiran Kaur and Principal SIER Dr.JyotiSoni.
Various models such as Quiz boards on Nouns, Adjectives and Degrees of Adjectives, Smart Story box and Parts of Speech train were the highlights of English Section. Hindi Section specially focused on Festivals of our country, similarly Punjabi section demonstrated ‘Lok Khedan’, Historical monuments and Famous crops of Punjab.
In the Maths Exhibition, students presented models based on Square root clock, Net of 3D shapes, types of Angles, Basic proportionality Theorem, Inclinometer, Coin separator, Area of circle and Median. The Mathematicians’ tree was also part of the Exhibition.
Talking about the Social Science exhibition showcased various models and charts as a part of their project based learning methodology. Classes VI &VIII displayed an array of models based on the topic ‘Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat’ Classes IX & X portrayed ‘Incredible India’ and ‘Unity and diversity’.
At the Science corner, students exhibited learning by doing activities. Models showcasing Bio gas plant, 3D hologram, Regenerative braking system were given special attention. The lilac volcano, Artificial blood, Denser than you think were highlights of Chemistry. Working model of heart and Demonstration of skeleton system using human skeleton was showcased in a creative way.
Quantum tunneling, Motion in a vertical circle and Balloon and beaker were some of the innovations of Physic lovers.
Eagle eye - a drone based project, sewage water mist converter and Hydroponics of ATL corner were the limelight of the exhibition.
There was a great deal of enthusiasm shown by the students as everybody appreciated the hands on approach and the learning aspects. The parents were also provided an opportunity to view it. The students were zealous to explain the concept of their project /experiment to everyone present. The invitee for the day , honourable Director DS Bedi was delighted and overwhelmed by the each child’s performance . He appreciated the efforts by the team involved for the conduct of the event. This exhibition made students more confident, creative, future-ready, and learners for life.
