GAMES & SPORTS

Games and sports bring out the best in a child and enable him to channelise his energy to useful and gainful pursuits. In the field of sports, our school occupies a place of pride and can boast of both national and international
players who have brought us laurels. In order to provide a boost to sports and enable healthy competition in the region, tournaments are organized regularly. Shivalik sponsors running trophies for various sporting events including cricket, initiated into participating in races, athletics and hockey, basketball, football and volleyball. Besides games like cricket, hockey, football, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, basketball and handball, students are also initiated into participating in races, athletics and gymnastics.

  • Skill Training
We feel each child has the potential, so 'participation for all' is the key principle. Group activities that include aerobics, gymnastics, drills, dance and bhangra are held on a regular basis. In an hour-long session every week, we ensure that all the students get an oppurtunity to paricipate in either of the actvities.

Awards & Appreciation

To motivate our students to do extra ordinarily well, the school grants scholarships to the highest achievers. Children who excel in co-scholastic activities are also awarded at the annual prize distribution function held every year.
