Promotion Criteria
|
Students of all classes take tests and terminal examinations on the basis of which promotion to the next class is decided. It is necessary that a student obtains a yearly average 50% in every subject for his/her promotion to the next class. Except for genuine reasons of health, parents should see that their children do not miss the unit tests and terminal examinations.
Any student who does not qualify the minimum pass grade will not be allowed to pursue his/her studies in the same class of the school. The decision of authorities with regard to promotion is final. Promotion is granted on the basis of the whole year’s performance of the pupil; hence the importance of regularity in attendance and work is imperative.
Any student using unfair means in the examination will be
expelled from the examination and his/her answer script will be cancelled. Also, serious action will be taken if the marks are tampered with.
